Potassium Sorbate

Potassium sorbate is a naturally derived preservative (made of potassium salts of sorbic acids which are found in the berries of the Mountain ash tree- Sorbus aucuparia, Rosaceae.) It is used in our Spice Cream as a preservative to prevent against the growth of bacteria, yeast, and fungi helping your product to last longer. This ingredient is used in very tiny amounts in our formulations (less than 1%).
